In 2025, Panoply was invited to merge with a charitable non-profit dance company
Motus O Dance Theatre, and the organization was officially renamed Panoply Theatre Collective, with Panoply’s founding members as its new officers.
We are forever grateful to & inspired by Jack Langenhuizen, James Croker, & Cynthia Croker at Motus O for trusting us with their organization’s next chapter.

In honour of their support & mentorship, we renamed our Plays in Development workshop series to the Motus O Legacy workshop series.
 
This is a creation development program hosted by Panoply. We are committed to the development of new work and the support of emerging creators. This ongoing project operates seasonally, where we select a guest playwright/creator and provide producing & dramaturgical support for their project, leading up to staged reading where audience feedback is collected to further the development of the workshopped piece. Working with artists can be a transformative opportunity in the playwriting/creation process. Plays are meant to be read aloud!

This project is ongoing - new scripts are chosen seasonally. If your script is selected our team will work with you to help set goals for your piece and pair you with cast & crew to workshop the script! Please note: if you have a director or acting team you’d like to work with, please include their resumes in your submission.
